Job description
The Executive Director β Private Banker in Dubai at J.P. Morgan Asset & Wealth Management leads client acquisition, retention, and the delivery of comprehensive wealth management solutions for UHNW individuals and families. The role encompasses strategic client relationship management, business development, and the coordination of investment, banking, and trust/estate services through cross-functional teams. This senior role requires a high level of client focus, regulatory awareness, and the ability to provide expert guidance while achieving business growth targets.

Key responsibilities
- Prospect and acquire new clients within the UAE market to expand the UHNW client base.
- Provide holistic wealth management solutions including investments, banking, trust, and estate planning tailored to client needs.
- Leverage internal specialists (Investor, Capital, Trust and Estate, and Wealth Advisors) to deliver comprehensive, interdisciplinary services.
- Ensure each client account is fully maintained, profiles are complete, and all activities adhere to J.P. Morgan Risk Management policies.
- Build trust and maintain long-term client relationships to enhance retention and satisfaction.
- Design and implement strategies to achieve sales and revenue targets while maximizing client value.
- Monitor client portfolios, conduct regular reviews, and provide actionable recommendations to meet clientsβ financial goals.
- Identify wealth planning opportunities, including asset allocation, managed portfolios, and structured solutions.
- Collaborate with colleagues across markets and functions to support business growth initiatives.
- Maintain compliance with local and international regulations, policies, and internal control frameworks.
Experience & skills
- Significant experience in private banking with a focus on UHNW individuals and families.
- Proven track record in business development, client acquisition, and exceeding sales targets.
- Deep knowledge of investment products, banking services, trust, and estate planning concepts.
- Demonstrated success in managing complex client relationships and coordinating interdisciplinary teams.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; Arabic is a plus.
- Achievement-oriented, with strong attention to detail and ability to work in a dynamic, rapidly evolving environment.
- Proven ability to prospect, negotiate, close deals, and generate referrals.
- Strong leadership and team-building skills, with emphasis on collaboration and mentoring.
- Emirati male nationals must have completed or have no obligatory military service obligations.
