Job description
The Manager - Cash Sales Acquiring role sits within the Transaction Banking Services (TBS) unit, which delivers a comprehensive suite of Trade and Supply Chain Finance, Cash Management, and Payment Solutions to corporate, government, and financial institution clients. The role is responsible for scoping and driving new and incremental cash management business opportunities by leveraging merchant acquiring products in collaboration with Coverage Relationship teams, with a primary objective of growing CASA balances and generating additional revenue streams for the bank. The position involves acting as a trusted advisor to existing and new-to-bank clients, recommending and promoting merchant acquiring solutions, contributing to the acquiring product strategy roadmap in alignment with Wholesale Banking strategic goals, and driving sector- and client-specific cross-sell opportunities through active coverage engagement. The role requires establishing pricing strategies for commercial and strategic clients based on Interchange Assessment, managing end-to-end global and regional cash management RFPs, and structuring integrated cash management solutions focused on liquidity and reconciliation efficiencies through ERP integrations, electronic banking, and API connectivity. The Manager continuously monitors competitive dynamics, regulatory trends, client feedback, and emerging technologies disrupting the payments and acquiring space, while also supporting relationship managers through training and product familiarization and simplifying new product approval processes within the acquiring and payments framework.

- Serve as a trusted advisor to recommend and promote merchant acquiring solutions to existing and new-to-bank clients.
- Contribute to the acquiring product strategy roadmap in alignment with Wholesale Banking strategic objectives.
- Conduct active coverage engagement to identify sector-specific and client-specific cross-sell opportunities for acquiring solutions.
- Champion data-driven approaches to identify white space opportunities and additional revenue streams.
- Establish pricing strategies for commercial and strategic clients based on Interchange Assessment.
- Drive end-to-end global and regional cash management request for proposals for corporate clients.
- Structure integrated cash management solutions with a focus on liquidity and reconciliation through ERP integrations, electronic banking, and API connectivity.
- Deliver periodic training sessions and product familiarization initiatives to empower relationship managers.
- Identify and implement opportunities to simplify new product approval processes and frameworks.
- Monitor the competitive landscape, regulatory trends, and client feedback to proactively adapt the payments and acquiring roadmap.
- Stay current on new technologies disrupting the payments and merchant acquiring space.
Experience & skills
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree in finance or Technology.
- Demonstrate a minimum of 10 years of product experience in Transaction Banking, Cash Management, or Payments.
- Possess strong knowledge of scheme frameworks and merchant onboarding guidelines.
- Have hands-on experience managing merchant acquiring products and related regulatory frameworks.
- Exhibit experience working across corporate, government, and financial institution client segments within transaction banking.
