Job description
The Process Equipment Supervisor role at EVA Pharma in Hautat Sudair is responsible for supervising maintenance activities for pharmaceutical manufacturing and packaging equipment to ensure reliable production operations. The position leads a team of multi-skilled technicians and ensures efficient maintenance, troubleshooting, and operational support for process equipment. The role involves preventive and corrective maintenance planning, risk-based maintenance assessments, and compliance with GxP and EHS standards. The supervisor also participates in new equipment installations, factory acceptance tests, site acceptance tests, and commissioning activities. Additionally, the position manages spare parts inventory, performs root cause analysis for equipment breakdowns, and implements corrective actions using structured problem-solving techniques. The role requires strong technical knowledge across mechanical, electrical, and automation systems, as well as leadership capabilities to drive operational excellence and support production targets in pharmaceutical or FMCG manufacturing environments.
Required skills
Key responsibilities
- Supervise maintenance team including technicians and senior technicians
- Manage daily maintenance and troubleshooting of production equipment
- Ensure production targets are met through equipment reliability
- Participate in new equipment installation and commissioning activities
- Conduct factory acceptance tests (FAT) and site acceptance tests (SAT)
- Develop preventive maintenance schedules and maintenance SOPs
- Conduct risk-based maintenance assessments
- Manage spare parts inventory and procurement processes
- Perform root cause analysis of equipment failures
- Implement CAPA and corrective maintenance actions
- Ensure compliance with GxP and safety regulations
- Support serialization and automation system troubleshooting
- Prepare maintenance documentation and reports
Experience & skills
- Bachelor’s degree or engineering diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or Electronics Engineering
- Minimum 7 years of experience in pharmaceutical or FMCG manufacturing
- At least 5 years of hands-on maintenance experience
- Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience
- Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment
- Experience with packaging equipment maintenance
- Knowledge of automation and control systems
- Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills
- Experience working with GxP and EHS standards
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Good communication and problem-solving abilities
