Billions of dollars' worth of trades move through the production plant this Production Support Engineer role helps own, sitting inside the Frontline support team for equity electronic trading in Riyadh. You provide direct trading desk facing business and technical support, serving as level one support on issues that affect Algorithmic, Smart Routing, Order Management and MTF systems. Plant health gets demonstrated through monitoring, alerting provisioning and capacity management, with repetitive maintenance and troubleshooting tasks automated wherever possible. Production changes get communicated and documented clearly, with this role helping improve the change management process and tooling over time. Incident follow-ups and root cause analysis drive continuous improvement across the production environment. Other teams get challenged to improve their own production-related practices, and emergency drills get coordinated and run on a regular basis. Techniques, tools and applications for monitoring systems, application and business performance get used and evolved in close collaboration with developers, product managers, business support and the technology team. Availability, performance and flexibility of the electronic execution service all fall under this role's remit, today and going forward.
