Job description
The Manager Technology Design and Implementation – Network & Security Infrastructure at Al Rajhi Bank leads complex network and security infrastructure projects. The role is responsible for evaluating, designing, and implementing compatible network and security systems aligned with organizational strategies. This includes Data Center and Disaster Recovery planning, WAN and core network design, hybrid and cloud configuration, and ensuring high availability across all layers. The incumbent provides technical guidance to teams, develops standards, performs troubleshooting, and ensures operational and security best practices are applied. The manager also prepares progress and performance reports, oversees team performance, and ensures adherence to governance, compliance, and anti-fraud regulations.

Key responsibilities
- Lead complex network and security infrastructure projects, including planning, design, execution, and closure of project phases
- Analyze network performance and recommend adjustments to optimize capacity and reliability across WAN, Data Center, and core networks
- Design, implement, and maintain Data Center and Disaster Recovery solutions ensuring high availability and operational resilience
- Develop and maintain network and security standards, provide technical guidance, and lead the technical network design team
- Perform troubleshooting and root cause analysis of network/security outages, applying solutions to prevent recurrence
- Plan and execute upgrades, additions, and conversions of network and security infrastructure, including operating systems and patches
- Support cloud and hybrid network implementations and ensure alignment with organizational security frameworks
- Prepare monthly reports on departmental performance, project progress, and quality, providing recommendations to management
- Coach and develop team members, ensuring alignment with functional objectives, career growth, and performance standards
- Adhere to all governance, audit, risk, compliance, and anti-fraud procedures within the bank
Experience & skills
- 7-10 years of experience in network and security infrastructure design and implementation
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering
- Advanced knowledge of Cisco networking, routing, and switching technologies
- Expertise in Data Center Interconnect Design, Failover, and high availability architectures
- Experience with enterprise and distributed system design, including network, security, server, and storage components
- Hands-on experience with load balancers (F5 and others), GTM, firewall, IPS, voice/collaboration, and wireless systems
- Proficiency in network diagramming and Microsoft Visio
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to resolve complex network and performance issues
- Experience with quality of service (QoS), WAN optimization, and network migration projects
- Ability to provide technical direction, develop architecture solutions, and lead teams for project delivery
