Job description
Every NPPA that reaches Compliance at Emirates NBD passes through this Regulatory Compliance Manager, who makes sure it is received, reviewed and presented to the CLT in line with the NPPA ToRs. Work usually starts with an initial call where the business is guided toward a complete, clear submission. Detailed reviews then test each NPPA against applicable regulations, notices and requirements, along with previous Compliance approvals and precedents. Action items and conditions from NPPA Review and CLT meetings need tracking to closure, with overdue items escalated to the Senior Manager. Business units and support functions also come to you for written and informal compliance advice. Arabic documents received from regulators need translating. Senior Management in Regulatory Advisory relies on accurate, well-contextualised feedback from you. Candidates bring 4 to 6 years of experience, including 3 to 4 in Regulatory Compliance within banking, and a good understanding of CBUAE & SCA Regulations. The position is open to UAE Nationals only.
