Job description
The Events and Partnerships Senior Manager at Strategy& leads the design and delivery of high-impact events and partnerships across conferences, client engagements, and internal experiences. This role defines and governs the firm’s events and partnerships strategy, aligning all touchpoints with business priorities, brand positioning, and growth objectives. The Senior Manager ensures a coherent, differentiated presence in both internal and external events, monitors industry trends, and evaluates competitive engagement strategies. Responsibilities include leading conference strategy and external platform participation to maximize visibility and relationship-building outcomes, cultivating high-impact strategic partnerships with influencers, universities, government bodies, and ecosystem partners, and advising senior leadership on relationship and engagement priorities. The role also encompasses planning differentiated client-facing events and internal experiences, setting experience standards, developing playbooks, and ensuring strategic sequencing of internal events to reinforce culture and alignment. The position requires managing events budgets, vendor ecosystems, and ensuring financial discipline, while identifying opportunities to scale impact through partnerships and operational efficiencies. Candidates are expected to operate seamlessly across internal and external ecosystems, translating brand and business priorities into engagement strategies that strengthen brand equity, client relationships, and firm culture.

Key responsibilities
- Define and lead the integrated Events & Partnerships strategy, including vision, KPIs, and alignment with business growth priorities and brand positioning
- Prioritize event investments based on strategic value, relationship impact, and return on engagement, ensuring a differentiated presence across internal and external touchpoints
- Drive the firm’s participation in conferences and external platforms, including selection, prioritization, activation, and alignment with sector focus areas, growth markets, and business development objectives
- Partner with the CRM team to integrate event participation data into pipeline tracking and follow-up processes to measure lead generation and relationship-building outcomes
- Cultivate and manage high-impact external partnerships with influencers, conference organizers, government bodies, universities, and industry forums, leveraging strategic alliances to amplify brand presence
- Plan client-facing events and define differentiated engagement formats, including webinars, executive roundtables, and conference-hosted side events, aligned to stages of the decision-making funnel
- Define, design, and elevate internal event experiences across offices, practices, leadership, and community, ensuring purposeful, connected, and high-quality engagements
- Oversee events budgets and vendor ecosystem, managing financial discipline, evaluating vendor partners, and identifying operational efficiencies to scale impact
Experience & skills
- 10+ years of experience in events strategy, partnerships, brand engagement, or related roles, with demonstrable experience leading conference strategy, sponsorship programs, and internal event portfolios
- Experience managing multidisciplinary teams and vendor ecosystems, ensuring operational excellence and effective collaboration
- Proven ability to work closely with senior leadership and external stakeholders to drive strategic engagement outcomes
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field
- Strong strategic thinking and ability to translate brand and business priorities into engagement strategies
- Advanced relationship-building and partnership development capability, with experience cultivating high-impact external alliances
- Strong financial oversight, budget governance, and ROI evaluation skills for events and partnerships
- High standards for experience design, brand integrity, operational excellence, and innovative engagement approaches
- Ability to operate seamlessly across internal and external ecosystems, coordinating cross-functional initiatives and knowledge partnerships
