The Director - Supply Chain Control Tower at Red Sea Coastal Trading Company, a subsidiary of Red Sea Global, is responsible for leading the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of an end-to-end integrated Supply Chain Control Tower to optimize supply chain operations supporting Saudi Arabia’s coastal development projects including The Red Sea Project and AMAALA. The role oversees coordination across warehousing, transportation, sourcing and purchasing, business development, sales management, pricing, and import team functions to ensure real-time visibility, operational efficiency, and supply chain performance. The position establishes centralized monitoring of end-to-end supply chain activities including inventory, transportation status, order fulfillment, and supply chain risk management. The role champions integration of advanced technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), Internet of Things (IoT), blockchain, and ERP systems to enhance automation, visibility, analytics, and decision-making capabilities. The Director drives optimization initiatives, cost reduction strategies, operational excellence, and customer satisfaction using Six Sigma and Lean methodologies. Responsibilities include defining KPIs, managing budgets, analyzing financial performance, optimizing resources, and ensuring cost-efficient operations. The role leads cross-functional teams across warehousing, transport, sourcing and purchasing, sales, pricing, and import operations while collaborating with global stakeholders. The Director provides strategic leadership, manages risk identification and mitigation, drives continuous improvement initiatives, and serves as primary liaison with senior leadership by delivering performance updates and strategic recommendations. The position supports Red Sea Global’s Vision 2030 objectives through sustainable supply chain solutions, advanced data analytics, and integrated operational control frameworks.

Key responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, implementation, and continuous evolution of the end-to-end Supply Chain Control Tower to optimize supply chain operations across warehousing, transportation, sourcing and purchasing, business development, sales management, pricing, and import functions while ensuring alignment with company strategic objectives
- Define key performance indicators (KPIs), performance dashboards, and operational metrics to monitor supply chain efficiency, inventory levels, transportation performance, order fulfillment, and operational risk while driving continuous process optimization
- Establish centralized monitoring and real-time visibility across the end-to-end supply chain including inventory management, transportation status, order fulfillment, supplier performance, and supply chain risk exposure using integrated control tower frameworks
- Champion integration and deployment of advanced technologies including Artificial Intelligence (AI), Internet of Things (IoT), blockchain, ERP systems, and data analytics platforms to enhance automation, predictive analytics, operational visibility, and decision-making capabilities
- Identify, assess, and mitigate supply chain risks by monitoring performance trends, anticipating disruptions, implementing contingency planning, and proposing proactive operational solutions to maintain service continuity
- Drive operational efficiency and continuous improvement initiatives using Six Sigma, Lean methodologies, and performance analytics to reduce operational costs, improve quality, enhance customer satisfaction, and optimize supply chain processes
- Oversee budgeting, cost management, and financial performance of the Control Tower function by analyzing financial metrics, optimizing resource allocation, and ensuring cost-efficient supply chain operations
- Build, manage, and mentor cross-functional supply chain teams while collaborating with global stakeholders, providing strategic leadership, delivering performance updates to senior leadership, and driving strategic initiatives supporting organizational growth
Experience & skills
- Hold a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, Technology, Advanced Data Analytics, or related field with MBA or advanced degree preferred
- Demonstrate minimum 10+ years of experience in supply chain management, logistics, or business development with at least 5 years in a leadership role managing supply chain operations
- Show proven experience developing and managing integrated Supply Chain Control Tower environments or centralized supply chain operational functions
- Possess strong operational background in warehousing, transportation, sourcing and purchasing, business development, sales management, pricing, and import/export operations
- Demonstrate expertise in deploying supply chain technologies including Artificial Intelligence (AI), Internet of Things (IoT), blockchain, ERP systems, and advanced data analytics tools
- Show experience managing cross-functional teams and collaborating with global stakeholders across supply chain, logistics, procurement, and operational functions
- Hold professional certifications such as APICS CPIM, CSCP, or equivalent supply chain certifications with Six Sigma or Lean certifications mandatory
- Demonstrate experience in financial management, budgeting, KPI development, performance monitoring, risk management, and continuous improvement initiatives within supply chain operations
