Job description
Cooling towers, sewage treatment facilities, thermal utility generation systems, electrical power generation facilities, and extensive underground service tunnels all need to come together into one functioning campus, and that integration challenge sits at the heart of this Project Director role on the KSU Relocation Project. Strategic direction, management, and successful delivery of this major EPC infrastructure and utility development program fall under this position's leadership, spanning highly complex process, mechanical, electrical, and utility systems. You will lead a multidisciplinary team while serving as the primary interface with the Client, EPC Contractor, stakeholders, authorities, and specialist consultants. Delivery gets held accountable to safety, budget, schedule, and contractual, quality, and operational requirements throughout. Process-driven and MEP-intensive systems receive executive oversight across design, construction, testing, and commissioning, covering the Sewage Treatment Plant, Medium Temperature Hot Water Building, Electrical Generation Building, utility distribution networks, and a 1.7 km service tunnel network. EPC contractor performance gets directed and monitored throughout every project phase, with major technical, commercial, and operational challenges resolved as they arise. Project budget, forecasting, and cost control stay under close accountability, alongside claims, variations, change orders, and commercial negotiations. Integrated master schedules get developed and maintained, with critical path activities, contractor productivity, and commissioning readiness monitored to keep milestones and completion dates on track.
