Job description
Support planning and execution of evaluation and onboarding activities of all new network elements according to the yearly plan. Ensure proper evaluation through participation in RFP processes, design, development, and lab testing. Provide progress updates to Network Operations and collaborate with key partners. Maintain and update all processes related to evaluation and boarding to reduce outage risks and cost overruns. Ensure governance and regulatory compliance, coordinate security risk assessments, and support audits and service operations risk management.

Key responsibilities
- Support planning and execution of evaluation and boarding activities of all new network, according to the Yearly Plan.
- Ensure proper evaluation of all new network by participating in RFP process, Design, Development and lab testing.
- Keep Network Operations up to date with regular progress reports.
- Proactively involve in negotiation with key partners when needed.
- Define, ensure effectiveness and efficiency, maintain and update all processes related to evaluation and boarding of new network to minimize risks and cost overruns.
- Ensure compliance and adherence to regulatory, statutory, and company governance requirements.
- Define standards of service / SLAās for the unit in line with business objectives.
- Coordinate & support Security Risk Assessments and associated Risk Management review for the Service Operations team.
- Act as Domain Risk Advisor for Service Operations in coordination with security teams.
- Evaluate VA Scan reports and coordinate with planning team to mitigate vulnerabilities.
- Ensure compliance of SW upgrade and patching processes for all network nodes and systems.
- Act as Service Operations SPOC for Internal Control Observations raised by audit teams.
- Support audits and projects to improve people, processes, and systems within the company.
Experience & skills
- Minimum Bachelor degree in computer, electrical, network Engineering or IT (any telecom equivalent).
- Minimum 10-15 years of experience in telecommunications / hi-tech industry.
- ISO /TL9000 Framework experience.
- ITIL Framework knowledge.
- Proven ability to lead large transformation projects.
- Strong team and group leadership skills.
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong negotiation and facilitation skills.
- Proven track record of managing vendors and governance frameworks.
- Strong management skills in a multi-cultural and multi-national environment.
- Fluent in English; Arabic is an advantage.
