Job description
The Product Manager – Account Services leads the development, commercialization, and governance of an institutional liability and cash management portfolio forming the foundation of the bank’s funding strategy and transactional banking growth. The role covers CASA, Wakala, Escrow, and Cash Management solutions and directly drives liquidity strength, cost efficiency, fee income, and foreign exchange revenue. Operating cross-functionally across Corporate Banking Group (CBG) and Large Banking Group (LBG) segments, the role grows deposits, optimizes funding mix, and expands transactional engagement through Sharia-compliant, digitally enabled, and commercially competitive solutions. The position acts as a strategic enabler translating institutional client needs into profitable, compliant, and technology-driven Islamic transaction banking solutions while maintaining Sharia and regulatory alignment through PPGs, SOPs, governance discipline, and stakeholder coordination across Treasury, Risk, Legal, Compliance, Operations, IT, and Sharia teams. The role also drives client experience improvements by optimizing onboarding turnaround time, streamlining workflows, launching targeted growth campaigns, and monitoring service KPIs, product profitability, spreads, margins, and performance dashboards across UAE and GCC markets.

- Develop and execute strategies to grow the institutional deposit base focusing on CASA and Wakala balances while optimizing liquidity mix, spreads, pricing, and product profitability in coordination with Treasury
- Drive transactional, fee, and FX income growth by increasing adoption of payments, collections, liquidity, sweeping, and escrow solutions and integrating FX into cash flow products
- Launch and manage targeted campaigns to grow operating accounts, CASA balances, and FX transaction volumes in collaboration with Relationship Managers, Segment Heads, and Marketing
- Ensure full Sharia and regulatory compliance across all liability and cash management products by maintaining updated PPGs, SOPs, process documentation, approvals, and governance controls
- Improve client onboarding turnaround time by optimizing workflows, streamlining documentation and mandates, and collaborating with Operations and IT to enhance digital enablement and client journeys
Experience & skills
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business or Finance with postgraduate qualification or specialized certification preferred
- Possess 10–15 years of experience in corporate product management, liabilities, or transaction banking with proven CASA growth, fee income optimization, escrow product management, and exposure to UAE/GCC Islamic banking markets
