Job description
The Manager – Cloud Solutions and Integration will oversee IT cloud infrastructure, solutions, and integrations at Julphar, covering platforms such as Microsoft, SAP S/4 HANA, and AWS. The role involves planning, organizing, and managing cloud infrastructure operations to ensure availability, reliability, and compliance with industry standards and regulations. Responsibilities include designing and implementing cloud-based solutions, ensuring security and regulatory compliance (HIPAA, FDA), managing cloud resources, optimizing performance, and collaborating with stakeholders to align services with the organization’s strategy. The position also entails vendor management, budgeting, team leadership, and providing technical expertise in cloud architecture, containerization, and GxP platform validation.
Required skills
Key responsibilities
- Manage all existing cloud solutions with high compliance, availability, and security
- Design and implement cloud-based solutions to meet IT infrastructure requirements, including compute, storage, network, and security
- Provide technical leadership in defining and implementing cloud architecture and best practices
- Develop and maintain technical documentation and architecture diagrams for cloud-based solutions
- Stay updated with emerging cloud technologies, trends, and best practices and provide recommendations to IT leadership
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards, including HIPAA and FDA regulations
- Manage cloud-based services and resources, including monitoring, scaling, and optimizing performance and costs
- Track benefits of cloud migrations and report regularly to senior leadership
- Plan and facilitate IT security reviews of applications identified for cloud migration
- Design, develop, review, refine, and monitor Key Cloud service delivery models and IT standards
- Ensure compliance with IT service delivery frameworks, policies, and procedures
- Identify and recommend cost-saving opportunities
- Coordinate with stakeholders to align cloud services with Julphar's strategy
- Manage contracts for cloud services and ensure vendor compliance
- Ensure training for customers on cloud services to maximize usage and benefits
- Ensure cloud services comply with regulatory and legal requirements
Experience & skills
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, information technology, or related field
- 15+ years of experience in IT infrastructure with 8+ years in cloud computing, networking, and security
- Strong understanding of cloud architecture and best practices
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience with cloud-based security, compliance, and risk management
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Microsoft Certified Azure Solutions Architect Expert are a plus
- Knowledge of SAP S/4 HANA, VMWare, Azure, AWS, Docker
- Understanding of networking technologies and emerging trends
- Knowledge on cloud infrastructure GXP platforms
- Knowledge of 21 CFR Part 11, HIPAA, and FDA regulations
- Familiarity with ITIL V4 process flow
