High power rectifiers, electrical, control and automation systems in metals and chemical plants across Saudi Arabia and the wider GCC are the focus of this ABB service post in Al Khobar. Sitting in the Metals & Power Conversion Business Line of the Process Industries Division, you report to the ME Operation Manager and support Project Managers on execution. Projects and service jobs need to land on time and on budget, so plan versus actual performance gets analysed regularly. Requests for invoicing are monitored, controlled and released by you. Before work starts on site, project plans are reviewed so safety and integrity issues are addressed upfront. BOMs are prepared and coordinated with SCM, and FAT and SAT are carried out on the systems delivered. Documentation must stay accurate and consistent with procedures agreed with the customer. At least 5 years in high power rectifier, electrical, control or automation projects and services is required, with a Diploma or Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation or Control Engineering. English or Arabic communication is needed, and the work model mixes site and office.
