Job description
The FX Specialist is responsible for activating New-to-FX customers and increasing share of wallet through cross-selling new products under the FX product basket for SME and business banking clients. The role maintains close contact with assigned customer portfolios to ensure Emirates NBD remains a main bank receiving a major share of wallet; supports the Head of Cross Sell with market feedback to develop differentiated sales and business development approaches by region; assesses product risk, reputation risk, and product suitability using global best practices; coaches Business Banking Relationship Managers to enhance FX business generation opportunities; ensures optimum weekly client calls to maximize primary transaction banking sales; and works closely with all product and channel partners from retail banking to maximize opportunities through regular contact, feedback, coordination, and cross-referrals. Candidates should bring in-depth knowledge of FX products, services, and delivery channels for SME customers in the region; strong analytical and financial management skills; awareness of market competition, industry practices, and business-banking regulations; and Arabic fluency. Experience & skills
- Preferably a management graduate with 5–7 years of relevant experience; MBA in Finance or Bachelor's degree (Essential)
- In-depth knowledge of FX products, services, and delivery channels for SME customers in the region
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, networking, and financial management skills
- Up-to-date understanding of market competition, industry practices, and regulations for business banking
- Analytical thinking, forward thinking, and fair-minded approach as described
- Arabic Speaker is a must
