Job description
A leading bank in the UAE is undergoing a treasury transformation and is seeking a Treasury Murex Consultant (Risk) in Abu Dhabi. The role involves implementing and configuring Murex 3.1 solutions, with a focus on the risk module and supporting asset classes across the treasury domain. The consultant will gather and refine business and technical requirements, validate system designs, manage configuration changes, and liaise with vendors for issue resolution. A strong understanding of trade lifecycle and risk metrics such as xVA is crucial, along with hands-on experience across at least two asset classes.
Required skills
Key responsibilities
- Provide technical and functional expertise for Murex solutions in a treasury environment
- Define systems and data requirements and validate design and processes
- Develop, document, and refine business, functional, and testing requirements
- Collaborate with vendors to resolve bugs and support issues
- Gather and validate configuration change requirements
- Implement and configure Murex Risk modules in alignment with business needs
- Support the transformation of the bankās treasury division
Experience & skills
- 5ā7 years of total working experience, with 2ā3 years as a Murex Risk expert
- Hands-on experience with Murex 3.1 platform
- Experience in treasury operations and systems
- Familiarity with at least two asset classes: Credit Derivatives, Interest Rate Derivatives, Equity Derivatives, Fixed Income, FX Cash, FX Derivatives, Commodities, Structured Derivatives
- Solid understanding of trade lifecycle processes
- Good knowledge of xVA (CVA, DVA, FVA, ColVA, MVA)
- MLC knowledge is a plus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Willingness to work on-site in Abu Dhabi; relocation support available
