Household appliances break down in customers' homes across Kuwait, and this field service position exists to get them working again. Most of your day is spent on the road, diagnosing faults and repairing or replacing parts on all types of household appliances. Before each customer visit, you order the parts the job needs so the repair can go ahead without delay. The work also extends into electronics, where you configure and troubleshoot audio-DSP, A/V control, video and audio devices, and USB-based software applications. Warranty claims, report submissions, service forms, logs and records are part of the routine too. There is no onsite supervisor, so you plan your own work and keep to a flexible schedule as demand shifts. Keeping the company vehicle, tools, equipment and parts inventory in good order is also your responsibility. Holders of a Refrigerant Handling Certificate, CET or HVAC certification with 3-5 years of field experience on all major home appliances will find the requirements familiar. Lifting and bending come with the job, and a valid driver's licence with a clear driving record is essential.
