Job description

In this role you will lead and manage technical and techno-economic analyses, design aspects, and technical project management of utility-scale BESS technologies and BESS hybrid solutions at Masdar, in line with overall engineering plans and objectives. You will focus on projects with less complex partnership structure, project structure, geographical location, technology, and risk exposure. Your responsibilities include strategic planning, resource allocation, and ensuring project alignment with organizational goals, providing technical guidance and leadership throughout the development lifecycle. As part of an integrated project team, you will prepare and agree on project specifications, budgets, and timescales with contractors, clients, or other stakeholders. You are responsible for defining basic design, and creating or reviewing test procedures for hybrid plant components such as foundation, battery, and converters. In this role you will apply your knowledge of BESS technologies and hybrid solutions to support Masdar's global clean energy portfolio, working alongside the Chief Operating Office and Engineering division.
