Job description
Reporting to the Finance Director in Dubai, the Accounting & Reporting Manager manages a team of 6 accountants to handle finance, accounting, and tax matters including schedules review, month-end and period-end closings in compliance with IFRS, internal control environment maintenance aligned to LVMH policies and procedures, and collection reconciliation processes managed locally. The role oversees back-office teams in Indonesia (Accounting shared service center) to ensure precise financial processing, seamless interdepartmental coordination, and continuous enhancement of support functions; collaborates closely with financial planning & control for closings and variance analysis; contributes to budgeting and monthly forecasting of landlord charges with accurate cost projections and accounting inputs; liaises with external auditors to facilitate timely audit closures of all entities; facilitates provision of information to tax advisors for tax filings and transfer pricing documentation and supports customs and tax inspections from government authorities; supports the global tax team with ad hoc regional tax initiatives; oversees the Collection reconciliation team to ensure accurate and timely variance reporting between recorded sales and actual collections, implements process enhancements to improve reconciliation accuracy and operational efficiency, and ensures internal control compliance including guidance on store training initiatives; drives continuous improvement across accounting and reconciliation processes, supports process documentation and enhancements related to finance systems, participates in special projects assigned by the CFO, and collaborates with Financial Planning, Treasury, Leasing, and other finance leaders to support the organizationās financial strategy. The position requires expert knowledge of SAP and IFRS, Advanced Excel, proven experience in multinational and large-scale companies (retail preferred), and the ability to coordinate with a shared service center based in Indonesia.

- Oversee the Accounting shared service center in Indonesia to ensure precise financial processing, effective coordination, and continuous enhancement of support functions
- Ensure timely and accurate month-end and period-end closings in compliance with IFRS while coordinating closely with controlling
- Maintain a strong internal control environment and ensure compliance with LVMH policies and procedures
- Contribute to budgeting and monthly forecasting of landlord charges, delivering accurate cost projections, variance analysis, and accounting inputs
- Liaise with external auditors to facilitate smooth and timely audit closure of all entities
- Provide required information to tax advisors for tax filings and transfer pricing documentation and support customs and tax inspections
- Support the global tax team with ad hoc regional projects and initiatives on tax topics
- Oversee collection reconciliation to ensure accurate and timely variance reporting between recorded sales and actual collections
- Implement process enhancements to improve reconciliation accuracy, operational efficiency, and internal control compliance
- Guide store training initiatives to address deficiencies identified through reconciliation and control reviews
- Drive continuous improvement across accounting and reconciliation processes and support process documentation and finance systems enhancements
- Participate in special projects assigned by the CFO and collaborate with Financial Planning, Treasury, Leasing, and other finance leaders to support overall financial strategy
Experience & skills
- Masterās degree in Finance or Business Administration or accounting qualifications
- Expert knowledge of SAP and IFRS (mandatory) and Advanced Excel (mandatory)
- 5+ years as a Finance Leader in multinational and large-scale companies; retail industry experience preferred
- Proven experience as a successful team leader in accounting and reporting functions
- Experience coordinating with an Accounting shared service center and delivering timely month-end/period-end closings
- Demonstrated capability in budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and internal control environment maintenance aligned with group policies
- Experience liaising with external auditors and supporting tax advisors with tax filings and transfer pricing documentation, including customs and tax inspections
- Ability to drive process documentation and continuous improvement initiatives related to finance systems
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills with ability to influence at various organizational levels
- Fluent in English
