Rides, food, groceries and payments all live inside Careem's super app, and this Senior Product Designer owns design for a major area of it from Dubai. Working with design leadership, you set the design vision for that area and drive several workstreams at once. Ownership runs from concept to launch, with success measured on user outcomes and commercial KPIs. Product and engineering leads treat the role as a strategic peer, and dependencies are spotted and resolved early. Craft is expected to be complete, with states, edge cases, dark mode, localisation and RTL covered by default. The design system is used fluently, extended where needed, and challenged when an exception makes sense. AI-assisted prototyping speeds the move from idea to testable design, while user interviews and data validate what ships. Decision docs, problem framings and crits need to be clear, and presentations reach executive level.
