Job description
The Sales Account Director for Banking Applications at Oracle’s Financial Services Global Industries Unit (FSGIU) is responsible for selling enterprise banking software solutions, including Oracle FLEXCUBE, Digital Experience, Lending & Leasing, Investor Servicing, Revenue Management & Billing, and banking products like Payments, Trade Finance, Treasury, and Supply Chain Finance. This individual contributor role focuses on driving license revenue growth across Angola, Mozambique, DRC, Madagascar, Comoros, Congo, and the Central African Republic, while based in Dubai, UAE. Responsibilities include achieving revenue targets, developing client transformation proposals with business cases, engaging C-level executives, managing sales cycles using Oracle Sales Cloud, and collaborating with internal and partner stakeholders. Candidates must have deep knowledge of the banking sector in the defined territory, prior experience with leading core/digital banking systems, and the ability to navigate complex enterprise software sales cycles with a focus on solution selling and business development.

Key responsibilities
- Achieve revenue targets for software licenses across specified banking solutions
- Engage customers strategically to build key relationships and support license purchases
- Position core and digital banking solutions at business, IT, and operational levels
- Create tailored transformation cases with supporting business justifications
- Use Oracle Sales Cloud (Fusion) CRM for lead generation, pipeline, and forecast management
- Collaborate across internal Oracle teams and external partners within the defined territory
- Develop and expand customer footprint through strategic alliances
- Participate in customer meetings, conferences, and proposal development activities
Experience & skills
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in core and digital banking application sales
- Proven experience with solutions like FLEXCUBE, Finacle, Temenos, FIS, Fiserv, or Mambu
- Established network with CXOs in regional banks
- Deep knowledge of the defined territory's banking industry
- Ability to shape and manage investment initiatives over $2M
- Fluency in English and Portuguese
- Strong presentation, communication, and solution-selling skills
- Knowledge of banking products lifecycle, compliance, and operations
- Willingness to travel locally and internationally
