Job description
The Senior Manager - Business Planning (CDU7) at Qiddiya Investment Company is responsible for driving continuous improvement of operational systems and business processes within the Central Development Unit. The role focuses on developing and maintaining efficient operational systems that support strategic goals and operational excellence across large-scale development initiatives. The position leads cross-functional initiatives to enhance process workflows, ensure system integrity, and improve overall business performance. Responsibilities include assessing, designing, and optimizing business processes aligned with organizational objectives, implementing process improvement initiatives, and identifying operational pain points while delivering innovative solutions. The role collaborates with multiple departments to standardize processes and ensure seamless system integration across business functions. The Senior Manager develops and maintains process documentation, training materials, and user guides while managing change management activities related to system updates and process implementations. The position monitors performance metrics, generates business performance reports, and drives continuous improvement initiatives aligned with governance standards and regulatory requirements. The role requires expertise in Lean, Six Sigma, process mapping, workflow tools, governance compliance, regulatory compliance, and operational systems management within large organizations or capital projects. The Senior Manager supports operational excellence by overseeing business process frameworks, stakeholder communication, system optimization initiatives, and performance monitoring across business units.

Key responsibilities
- Assess, design, and optimize business processes and operational systems aligned with organizational objectives to enhance operational efficiency, system integrity, and business performance across the Central Development Unit
- Lead cross-functional initiatives for process improvement by identifying operational pain points, implementing innovative solutions, and driving continuous improvement using Lean, Six Sigma, or equivalent frameworks
- Collaborate with various departments to standardize business processes, ensure seamless system integration, and improve workflow efficiency across organizational functions
- Develop comprehensive process documentation, training materials, user guides, and operational manuals to support governance, operational consistency, and knowledge transfer
- Manage change management initiatives related to system updates, process implementations, and operational improvements while ensuring stakeholder alignment and adoption
- Monitor performance metrics, analyze operational data, and generate business performance reports to guide decision-making and continuous improvement efforts
- Ensure adherence to internal policies, governance frameworks, and regulatory requirements while maintaining operational compliance and system integrity
- Oversee stakeholder communication, coordinate cross-functional collaboration, and support operational excellence initiatives to enhance overall business performance
Experience & skills
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field with Master’s degree preferred
- Demonstrate minimum of 5 years of experience in systems and process management within large organizations or capital projects environments
- Possess proficiency in process improvement methodologies including Lean, Six Sigma, or equivalent continuous improvement frameworks
- Demonstrate strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management capabilities within operational systems and business process optimization
- Show experience with process mapping and workflow tools for designing, optimizing, and standardizing operational workflows
- Demonstrate ability to manage change management initiatives, system implementations, and process improvement programs
- Show ability to manage multiple priorities, deliver results under pressure, and support operational performance objectives
- Demonstrate fluency in English with Arabic language capability considered an advantage
