Job description
Merchant Acquisition team members will be tasked with the initial stages of business development where they will be contacting some of the worldâs largest financial institutions, local merchants, and key clients with the aim of setting up meetings and establishing new lines of communication.

Key responsibilities
- Promote and present to merchants, retailers and other entities in UAE the PayTabs products to acquire new business partners.
- Maintain merchants relationships to ensure continual growth and sales targets.
- Create, develop and implement a business plan to grow the business.
- Build and manage the relationships of key accounts.
- Generate, maintain and increase business opportunities with existing merchants.
- Train the merchant staff on the PayTabs products.
- Sell and service the PayTabs products to merchants.
- Provide customer data to the merchants to show that PayTabs is adding value to their business.
- Develop and grow sales and support team.
- Manage the merchant collection process for cardholder payments to merchants.
- Manage and regularly update project planning and create projections using all means including spread sheets.
- Support the business in any way as requested to ensure its effective operation.
- Design, create and supply business proposals to banks and merchants.
Experience & skills
- Pleasantly assertive and energetic with enthusiasm for challenges and team work.
- Aggressive and energetic in sales on behalf of the companyâs portfolio.
- Well organized with a professional appearance.
- Ability to interact with various levels of management including governmental, business and financial stakeholders.
- Understanding of the local merchant acquiring landscape, key players, regulations, and digital payments opportunities.
- Strong English and Arabic communication and articulation skills.
- Innovative forward thinker and dynamic business hunter with the ability to exceed sales goals.
- Lead generation responsibility and goal-oriented work ethic.
- Capability to manage channel partner relationships at both operational and strategic levels.
- Strong business knowledge of financial services and technology.
- Excellent relationship skills and an established merchant network within the UAE.
- Proficiency in sales and negotiation techniques.
- Cold calling experience.
