Job description
The Brand and Social Manager at Ounass is a senior integrated leadership role responsible for shaping brand marketing and organic social media under a single strategic vision across the GCC. The role leads how Ounass shows up culturally, creatively, and socially, ensuring consistency, relevance, and impact across all touchpoints. Responsibilities span defining and executing brand marketing strategy, overseeing organic social media across Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat, Threads, and YouTube, leading 360° seasonal and Tier 1 campaigns, gifting moments, launches, and cultural activations, and managing brand communication, partnerships, and owned storytelling. The role requires deep collaboration with Content, Creative, Editorial, Merchandising, Performance, PR, Events, Studio, Visual Merchandising, Trade, Buying, and Brand Marketing teams. The manager owns the brand marketing budget, defines brand and social KPIs including brand lift, consideration, engagement, traffic, and reach proxies, and uses data to guide decisions while protecting luxury brand equity. A strong understanding of GCC cultural nuances, luxury fashion, beauty, and lifestyle markets, and the ability to translate brand positioning into compelling creative and social narratives are essential. The role includes leading and developing brand marketing and social media teams, building structure within junior teams, identifying capability gaps, and scaling talent for future growth.

Key responsibilities
- Own and execute the integrated Brand Marketing and Social Media strategy ensuring alignment across campaigns, always-on content, partnerships, and cultural moments.
- Translate brand positioning into clear creative and social narratives and act as the link between brand vision and social execution.
- Lead end-to-end 360° brand campaigns including seasonal campaigns, Tier 1 campaigns, gifting moments, launches, and customer engagement initiatives.
- Oversee industry partnerships and brand equity activations with a focus on storytelling and cultural relevance.
- Define and oversee organic social media strategy across Instagram, TikTok, Threads, Snapchat, and YouTube.
- Establish and manage social processes including planning, calendars, approvals, reporting, and optimisation.
- Guide platform-specific storytelling while protecting luxury brand equity and supporting broader performance marketing objectives.
- Lead, mentor, and develop Brand Marketing and Social Media teams, building structure, capability, and future senior talent.
- Manage the full brand marketing budget and ensure effective allocation across initiatives.
- Define, track, and report on brand and social KPIs such as brand lift, consideration, engagement, traffic, and reach.
- Build strong cross-functional relationships with Buying, Creative, Editorial, PR, Events, Studio, Visual Merchandising, Trade, and senior stakeholders.
- Present clear strategic recommendations and performance narratives to senior leadership.
Experience & skills
- 7–10 years of experience across brand marketing and social/content roles.
- Background in luxury, fashion, or beauty within retail, e-commerce, or publishing.
- Proven experience leading teams and managing multiple workstreams.
- Deep understanding of GCC cultural nuances.
- Strong editorial judgment and luxury brand sensibility.
- Experience managing brand marketing budgets.
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
