Job description
The Director – Marketing and Communications role at Jumeirah Marsa Al Arab is a senior leadership position responsible for defining and executing the strategic annual Marketing and Communications plan for one of Dubai’s newest ultra-luxury lifestyle destinations. The role drives sales, revenue growth, brand positioning, and global visibility in alignment with Jumeirah’s global brand standards and the resort’s unique identity. The position oversees and optimizes the marketing budget to maximize ROI across digital marketing, public relations, partnerships, media, and influencer initiatives. It leads and inspires a high-performing internal team and external agency network including creative, content, PR, influencer, and media partners to deliver integrated, world-class campaigns. The role champions brand storytelling, executes integrated and data-informed campaigns across digital, social, CRM, and traditional channels to increase awareness and direct bookings, leverages insights and partnerships to refine strategies and unlock new business opportunities, and operates within a global luxury hospitality environment encompassing resorts, branded residences, marinas, dining destinations, and lifestyle experiences.

- Leverage performance insights, data, and partnerships to refine marketing strategies and unlock new business opportunities
Experience & skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Audio-Visual Production, or a related field
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in ultra-luxury hospitality marketing and communications
- Proven track record of driving brand growth and market impact in luxury hospitality environments
- Demonstrated leadership experience managing and developing teams of 10 or more professionals across multiple functions
- Comprehensive expertise in digital marketing, media relations, and marketing budget management
- In-depth understanding of local and international media landscapes with established industry relationships
