Job description
The Senior Account Manager will manage relationships with Cigna Insurance Middle East and Africa (CIME) clients. Responsibilities include achieving service-level targets, enhancing client satisfaction, and supporting renewals and revenue growth. The role involves strategic client engagement, broker collaboration, proposal development, retention initiatives, and contributing to the health and wellbeing proposition. It requires excellent communication and problem-solving skills and the ability to work across multiple departments and stakeholders to ensure superior client service.

Key responsibilities
- Work closely with existing clients to ensure their needs are met and to be an ambassador for Cigna.
- Develop effective and close working relationships with intermediaries retained by Cigna clients.
- Liaise with underwriters and other functions to construct attractive proposals for renewals and products.
- Seek out cross-sales opportunities and grow business through existing client base.
- Present proposals to clients and intermediaries to maintain and expand relationships.
- Produce high-quality client literature in collaboration with Legal and Marketing.
- Own personal development to improve knowledge and skills.
- Provide feedback on client and market information internally.
- Re-install schemes at renewal thoroughly and professionally.
- Ensure client service excellence by liaising with Customer Services and Healthcare Services teams.
- Handle invoicing, quality deliverables, references, forecasts, and balancing partner vs. business needs.
- Utilize product suite to add value and ensure internal policy compliance.
Experience & skills
- Minimum of 6 years in a Corporate Client Management role.
- Experience with Tier 1 and mid-market insurers/policies in the Middle East and Africa preferred.
- Confident public speaker and presenter with ability to communicate complex ideas clearly.
- Experience managing jumbo corporate clients and multi-functional projects.
- Demonstrated negotiation and influence skills.
- Regional market and regulatory knowledge is key.
- Bachelorās degree preferred; Marketing or Business degree advantageous.
- Working knowledge of Agile Project Management preferred.
- Advanced Microsoft Office user.
- Excellent English verbal and written communication.
- Travel required (10%ā25%) and flexibility in working hours for regional coverage.
