Job description
The EY Strategy and Transactions Graduate Program in Valuation, Modeling and Economics (VME) offers fresh graduates in Riyadh the opportunity to join a globally recognized professional services firm and build a strong foundation in corporate finance and valuation advisory. As part of the Strategy and Transactions service line, graduates will support clients in navigating complex financial and strategic decisions, including business valuations, financial modeling, capital structuring, and economic analysis. The program combines hands-on project exposure with structured learning, mentorship, and leadership development, enabling participants to accelerate both technical and professional growth. Graduates will work on high-impact engagements across various industries, contributing to transaction support, portfolio reshaping, and value creation strategies aligned with regional and global market dynamics. This role is designed for GCC nationals who have recently completed their degree and are eager to develop in a fast-paced, intellectually stimulating environment.
Required skills
Key responsibilities
- Support the preparation of detailed financial models for business valuation, transaction analysis, feasibility studies, and strategic decision-making.
- Conduct company, industry, and market research to support valuation engagements and transaction advisory projects.
- Assist in performing financial statement analysis, forecasting, and sensitivity analysis to evaluate business performance and value drivers.
- Contribute to the preparation of valuation reports, client presentations, and deliverables under the supervision of senior team members.
- Apply recognized valuation methodologies such as discounted cash flow (DCF), comparable company analysis, and precedent transaction analysis.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across Strategy and Transactions to support integrated client solutions.
- Engage with clients professionally, supporting data requests, clarifications, and analysis throughout project lifecycles.
- Continuously develop technical and leadership capabilities through structured training programs and on-the-job coaching.
Experience & skills
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Political Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Degree completed within the past 18 months; Master’s candidates must have no more than 6 months of relevant work experience (or progressed directly from bachelor’s to master’s).
- GCC National (mandatory requirement).
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to interpret financial and economic data.
- Basic understanding of corporate finance, valuation principles, and financial statement analysis.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with financial modeling concepts is an advantage.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; Arabic proficiency is an advantage.
