Job description
The Sr Project Management Specialist (on-site at Honeywell, Masdar, Abu Dhabi) leads complex industrial automation projects that enable customers to run safer, more efficient operations across refineries, distribution centres and retail, supporting safety, sustainability, resilience and productivity goals through connectivity, advanced data analytics, software, robotics, sensors, process automation and asset performance management solutions. The role develops project plans, timelines and budgets; defines scope, objectives and deliverables; leads, motivates and oversees cross-functional teams to meet milestones; communicates with clients, stakeholders and team members to set expectations and provide progress updates; owns project revenue planning and forecasting; identifies, assesses and mitigates risks with contingency plans; manages resources to improve productivity; ensures deliverables meet Honeywell quality standards and customer requirements; handles changes in scope, schedule and costs while maintaining objectives; maintains comprehensive project documentation for reporting and audit; uses project management tools to monitor performance and productivity; promptly addresses customer escalations to keep projects on track; and partners with Sales and P&E on new project opportunities. Qualifications include a Bachelors in Engineering or Business Management; minimum 10 years of regional project management experience; strong leadership, organizational and planning abilities; proficiency with project management software; effective communication and negotiation skills; good understanding of business operations and solution-specific knowledge; analytical and problem-solving capabilities; ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects; PMP certification; and proven experience delivering safety solutions, Fire & Gas and Fire-fighting systems with solid understanding of safety and reliability standards in the Oil & Gas industry. Experience & skills
- Hold a Bachelors in Engineering or Business Management.
- Minimum 10 years of project management experience in the region.
- Strong leadership and team management skills with excellent organizational and planning abilities.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Effective communication and negotiation skills with stakeholders and customers.
- Good understanding of business operations and solution-specific domains.

- PMP Project certification.
