Job description
Amazon Now is Amazon UAE's quick commerce offering, built around sub-15-minute delivery, and its private label and white label range needs a single threaded business owner. Ownership sits with this Category Manager, with special focus on fresh produce, perishables and grocery across categories. P&L management, margin improvement and a hyper-local selection, including premium offerings and instant consumption verticals, all fall within the brief. New products move through stage-gate processes from concept to commercialisation, often with co-manufacturers, suppliers and manufacturer Formulation & Packaging teams. Private labels already proven on other Amazon marketplaces can be brought to AE once they have been adapted for local relevance. Vendor management, selection, pricing, instock, legal and tech teams all shape the category with you. Written documents carry real weight at Amazon, so strategy papers, business reviews and investment proposals for senior leadership forums are a regular part of the job. At least 5 years of FMCG experience in Category Development, Product Development, Innovation, Portfolio or Brand Management is required, along with a track record of launching new categories, products or brands. An MBA or a Food & Beverage FMCG background would strengthen your case.
