Job description
As a Network Implementation Engineer for Edge Metro at Google in Dubai, you will contribute to one of the most advanced and extensive network infrastructures in the world. The role is integral to supporting network deployment by working closely with design teams, deployment groups, planners, and peering negotiators to ensure end-to-end connectivity. This includes translating network designs into scalable bills of materials (BOMs) and repeatable design packages, while supporting internal and third-party execution across global sites. You will engage with cross-functional teams including Core, Transport, and Edge, and play a pivotal role in automating scalable deployment solutions. Responsibilities include troubleshooting network capacity workflows, updating deployment plans (DPKs), generating implementation documentation, and maintaining accurate records. The position requires at least 3 years of hands-on experience with fiber types and standard network testing tools such as OSA, BERT, and OTDR. Strong communication skills are essential due to the customer-facing nature of the role.
