Job description
Muscat and Duqm operations both fall under this Team Leader, Digitalization role at OQ8, which owns end-to-end digitalization and digital application delivery across both sites. You define, maintain, and govern the digitalization roadmap, demand intake, and prioritization pipeline, keeping everything aligned with corporate strategy, architecture standards, and measurable benefits realization. Business requirements get translated into fit-for-purpose digital initiatives and products, covering low-code platforms, workflow automation, RPA, integrations, and analytics. Digital delivery gets planned, coordinated, and led using agile or waterfall methods, spanning discovery, process redesign, prototyping, configuration, testing, UAT, cutover, and hypercare. Technologies get evaluated, selected, and implemented for multi-location initiatives, including Power Platform, RPA, forms, portals, APIs, and BI dashboards, with proof of value pilots run for emerging technologies where it makes sense. Vendors and partners get managed through the full lifecycle, from scope of work definition through performance monitoring and service reviews, building a digital ecosystem that actually holds together across local and global relationships. Solution quality, cyber security, and data privacy stay non-negotiable throughout, embedded through architecture alignment, secure by design practices, and Microsoft 365 and Azure enterprise controls. Incident follow-up, release management, and lifecycle management for delivered solutions round out the operational side, keeping production risk low and service disruption to a minimum.
