Job description
The IT Manager - Assets at DP World will oversee the full lifecycle of IT assets from procurement through retirement, ensuring cost-effective utilization and compliance with regulatory standards. The role includes developing asset management policies, forecasting asset needs, overseeing vendors, and providing analytics to support decision-making. This position requires strong knowledge of ITIL, asset management systems, ERP integration, and reporting tools.

Key responsibilities
- Manage the IT asset lifecycle from procurement through retirement, ensuring accurate inventory and cost-effective utilization.
- Develop and implement asset management policies, standards, and procedures.
- Collaborate with IT Planning to forecast asset needs and align procurement with project timelines and budget.
- Ensure compliance with licensing agreements, software audits, and regulatory standards.
- Lead asset-related reporting and analytics to support strategic decision-making.
- Oversee vendors and service providers involved in asset delivery, maintenance, and disposal.
- Manage risk, security, and data integrity throughout the asset lifecycle.
- Support internal audits, reviews, and performance tracking related to IT assets.
Experience & skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- ITIL Certification and ISO Asset Management (ISO 19770) training desirable.
- 6–8 years in IT Asset Management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Experience with lifecycle management, procurement integration, and compliance.
- Knowledge of Asset Management Systems such as ServiceNow, Ivanti, Flexera.
- Familiarity with ERP integration and procurement systems.
- Budget planning and TCO analysis experience.
- Strong vendor and contract management expertise.
- Proficiency with data analytics and reporting tools such as Power BI and Tableau.
- Strong organizational, negotiation, and analytical abilities.
