Job description
Johnson & Johnson is seeking a 3PL Lead to oversee outsourced warehousing and transportation activities in Saudi Arabia. This role ensures efficient, cost-effective, and compliant supply chain operations, directly impacting service delivery to patients and customers. The successful candidate will build strong partnerships with 3PL providers, monitor performance, drive operational efficiency, and mitigate risks. The position involves managing capacity planning, demand forecasting, inventory accuracy, shipping logistics, and compliance, while also ensuring continuous improvement and cost optimization.

Key responsibilities
- Build strong partnerships with 3PL providers to align goals and service level agreements
- Implement performance measurement systems and conduct regular reviews of 3PL provider performance
- Optimize warehousing and transportation operations to achieve efficiency and cost-effectiveness
- Identify risks such as capacity constraints and regulatory compliance, implementing mitigation strategies
- Coordinate with 3PL providers to ensure sufficient resources and capacity for customer orders
- Share accurate demand forecasts with 3PL providers for effective operations planning
- Monitor order flow, ensuring timely and accurate processing
- Maintain real-time inventory control and tracking systems
- Coordinate shipments with 3PL to ensure timely delivery and resolve logistics issues
- Implement quality control measures and conduct regular inspections
- Address operational issues promptly, collaborating with cross-functional teams
- Ensure compliance with shipping regulations and maintain accurate documentation
- Review warehousing and transportation spend, perform data analysis, and manage budgets
- Optimize transportation route planning across sales channels
- Ensure billing verification and timely supplier payments
Experience & skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain/Logistics, Business (preferred)
- 5–7 years of experience managing 3PL operations or direct logistics function
- Knowledge of warehousing and distribution concepts and best practices
- Experience in multinational or regional company in MedTech environment is an advantage
- Fluency in Arabic and English
- Experience in SAP preferred
- Expert in Excel, proficient in Word and PowerPoint
- Strong analytical, reporting, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage complexity and negotiate with vendors
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
