Job description
The Manager – Learning and Development role at Jumeirah Group & Corporate is responsible for leading and governing vocational learning pathways across Food and Beverage, Culinary, Rooms, and Spa divisions within a global luxury hospitality portfolio. The role ensures alignment, consistency, and operational relevance of learning initiatives across international properties while acting as the central link between corporate and property-based L&D teams. Responsibilities include developing global dashboards and insights to measure learning engagement, performance, and return on investment, guiding properties in executing learning projects, managing external vendors, maintaining training quality standards, and monitoring budgets and KPIs. The role leverages digital learning platforms and analytics tools to drive continuous improvement and ensure that all learning experiences support Jumeirah’s service excellence standards and brand legacy across diverse regions and cultures.
Required skills
Key responsibilities
- Design, route, and govern vocational learning pathways across Food and Beverage, Culinary, Rooms, and Spa divisions
- Ensure global alignment, consistency, and operational relevance of learning programs across properties
- Develop and maintain global dashboards to track learning engagement, performance, and ROI
- Act as the central liaison between corporate and property-based L&D teams for execution and governance
- Guide properties in delivering learning projects and managing training vendors
- Maintain quality standards across all learning and development programs
- Monitor learning budgets, track KPIs, and ensure cost-effective delivery of training initiatives
- Translate learning data and insights into action plans for continuous improvement
Experience & skills
- Demonstrate five to seven years of experience in Learning and Development roles
- Apply experience within international luxury hospitality or a leading blue-chip organization
- Demonstrate experience working across diverse regions with cultural and market awareness
- Apply working knowledge of learning platforms including Axonify, Adobe, SurveyMonkey, and QR Code Generator
- Demonstrate strong proficiency in Microsoft 365 tools including PowerPoint and Visio
- Demonstrate ability to analyze learning data and translate metrics into actionable improvement plans
