Job description
We are currently recruiting for a Manager - Facilities Management to join our Integrated Facilities Services team in Dubai. The role involves managing facilities and operations with best FM industry practices to improve operational efficiency, maintain high customer satisfaction, and align with Transguard's business objectives. Key responsibilities include financial oversight, customer service excellence, operational process management, and implementing innovative solutions such as energy and CAFM projects. The candidate should be technically proficient with engineering qualifications and a strong track record in managing structured contracts across diverse facility types.

Key responsibilities
- Prepare monthly operational data reports to support financial performance reviews.
- Ensure contract profitability aligns with budget/targets and explore additional business opportunities.
- Develop and manage team structures to support smooth operations within budget.
- Identify continuous improvement initiatives related to processes and costs.
- Ensure SLA/KPI compliance in project service delivery.
- Add client value through cost-reduction and goal-aligned initiatives.
- Manage monthly budgets, P&L accounts, and invoicing.
- Plan and conduct induction and training for new staff.
- Coordinate transport/accommodation for contract start-ups.
- Procure materials/services in line with procurement policies.
- Manage third-party specialist contractors and vendors.
- Liaise regularly with clients to ensure service standards exceed expectations.
- Undertake site visits and resolve staff performance issues.
- Ensure compliance with local statutory guidelines and international FM standards.
- Plan project mobilization/demobilization stages.
- Manage equipment procurement and local purchase orders.
- Monitor staff resource utilization for contract service delivery.
- Support business proposal preparation with correct service pricing.
- Implement energy and technology upgrades with ROI modeling.
- Deploy and monitor CAFM system for 100% SLA/KPI compliance.
Experience & skills
- Bachelor of Engineering/Science in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics Engineering or Equivalent.
- Certification preferred such as CFM, PMP, IOSH, NEBOSH.
- Minimum experience of 5 years or above in structured contract management.
- Experience managing facilities such as residential, commercial, master communities, universities, retail, banking, and royal facilities.
- Experience in soft services management.
- Knowledge and implementation of CAFM system modules.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and report writing.
- Driving license is mandatory.
- Ability to interpret MEP, structural, and architectural drawings.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
