Job description
The Associate Channel Logistics (Telecom Operations & Supply Chain) role at du is responsible for supporting telecom channel operations through effective management of orders, returns, cash handling, and logistics processes. The position ensures timely fulfillment of customer requests via systems such as Wincash, and coordinates end-of-day cash delivery to G4S. The role emphasizes continuous personal and team performance improvement through KPI monitoring, skills development, and operational efficiency initiatives. The Associate works closely with the sales team to design, implement, and maintain standardized work processes, instructions, and methods to ensure consistent support levels across telecom channels. Responsibilities include updating warehouse and management teams with stock forecasts, reordering inventory based on stakeholder requirements, and producing ad hoc operational and performance reports. The position requires proactive decision-making under pressure, effective communication with internal teams and stakeholders, and creative problem-solving to achieve operational objectives and win-win outcomes. The role also requires maintaining up-to-date knowledge of system operations and work processes while fostering self-motivation and a results-driven approach.
Required skills
Key responsibilities
- Process and manage orders and returns for all supported telecom channels, ensuring accuracy and timely execution.
- Fulfill daily customer requests via Wincash and complete daily Wincash closing operations.
- Coordinate end-of-day cash delivery to G4S and ensure accurate reconciliation.
- Establish and implement continuous performance improvement plans for self and managed team to enhance productivity and operational efficiency.
- Motivate team members to consistently meet or exceed KPIs and drive process improvements.
- Collaborate with the sales team to design and implement standardized work processes, instructions, and methods to ensure seamless channel support.
- Update warehouse and management teams with stock forecasts based on weekly sales and reorder stock according to stakeholder requirements.
- Generate ad hoc reports to support operational decision-making and performance tracking.
- Respond proactively under pressure to urgent operational situations, making decisions and providing timely support.
- Apply creative problem-solving and resolution skills to achieve operational objectives and ensure efficient logistics operations.
Experience & skills
- Hold a bachelor degree in business administration or sales and marketing supporting telecom operations or logistics.
- Possess 1–3 years of experience in a logistics, supply chain, or operations support role, ideally within the telecommunications industry.
- Demonstrate good understanding of logistics and supply chain project operations.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken); Arabic is an added advantage.
- Demonstrate excellent communication, planning, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, specifically Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and provide proactive operational support.
- Self-motivated, results-driven, with initiative, creative problem-solving, and ability to deliver win-win outcomes.
