Job description
The Solutions Architect at S&P Global Market Intelligence supports revenue growth and retention within an assigned geographic region by ensuring a positive client experience throughout the entire sales cycle and enabling clients to maximize utilization of products from both a content and technical standpoint. The role serves as part of the Solutions Architect organization responsible for pre- and post-sales client service and acts as the primary contact for end users of Channels Data Delivery Solutions, including Xpressfeed, API, and Cloud Services. The position requires a deep understanding of client business models and how S&P GMI financial data products add value, alongside hands-on responsibility for deploying datafeed solutions, configuring software to align with client technical environments, supporting hardware and software installation, and delivering product training. The role involves close collaboration with Sales, internal technical teams, and client technical support staff to ensure successful product adoption, retention, and expansion. Responsibilities extend to expanding product usage across departments, gathering client and market intelligence to support revenue growth, providing structured feedback into product development, monitoring competitors, and maintaining detailed records of installations, applications, and support activities to build a shared knowledge base. The Solutions Architect also acts as a primary regional liaison between S&P GMI and clients, qualifying prospective clients, assessing additional sales opportunities, and communicating planned and existing product capabilities to align solutions with client financial data, application, and technology needs.
