Job description
The Manager - Fire and Rescue Prepare at Red Sea Global is responsible for managing and delivering the Prepare functions within the Fire and Rescue Services division under the leadership of the Senior Manager of Prepare & Support Services. This role ensures the effective operation of risk and resource planning processes to support the delivery of firefighting and rescue capabilities across all Red Sea Global assets. The incumbent will oversee the Prepare team at a tactical level, distributing workloads, developing staff, and ensuring operational alignment with Red Sea Fire and Rescue Service (RSFRS) and corporate policies. The role involves managing Prepare databases and inquiries, acting as a representative on the Prepare and Support Services Management Team, and deputizing for the Senior Manager when required. Core responsibilities include developing risk profiles for RSG assets, coordinating with the Risk and Resilience department to ensure seamless risk management, and creating comprehensive emergency response and contingency plans. The manager will also design, test, and improve emergency plans across sites, ensuring readiness for crises through simulations, drills, and training. The position requires leadership in organizational change, continuous improvement, and policy development to align with international best practices. Additionally, the Manager will oversee the creation and maintenance of operational policies, procedures, and standards, ensuring safety, quality, and environmental compliance. This role is integral to enhancing Red Sea Globalās emergency preparedness, risk resilience, and operational readiness across its destinations.

Key responsibilities
- Manage and deliver all Fire and Rescue Prepare functions under the supervision of the Senior Manager of Prepare & Support Services.
- Act as a key member of the Prepare and Support Services Management Team and deputize for the Senior Manager when required.
- Supervise the Prepare team, distributing workloads and overseeing training, development, and performance management.
- Develop and manage databases, records, and correspondence to ensure efficient and timely responses.
- Drive organizational change and continuous improvement within the Prepare department.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to develop effective risk management and contingency strategies.
- Assist in identifying life, property, and environmental risks across Red Sea Global assets and develop risk profiles.
- Coordinate with the Risk and Resilience department in Riyadh and on-site teams to maintain unified risk management and business continuity frameworks.
- Ensure RSG destinations maintain best practice emergency arrangements, staying up to date with emerging standards and practices.
- Develop, implement, and test emergency response and contingency plans tailored to each RSG assetās operational stage.
- Guide and support senior leadership during emergencies and advise on crisis management responsibilities.
- Manage and coordinate cross-site emergency planning and response working groups.
- Plan and oversee large-scale emergency simulation exercises to evaluate response capabilities.
- Monitor, assess, and report on the performance and readiness of emergency and support service teams.
- Contribute to the development of operational policies ensuring compliance with risk profiles and international best practices.
- Support the preparation of functional MIS reports and ensure adherence to policies, standards, and procedures.
- Promote safety, quality, and environmental compliance across Fire and Rescue operations.
- Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement, cost efficiency, and productivity gains.
Experience & skills
- Bachelorās Degree in a related field or Business Administration.
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in a managerial position within a fire and rescue service or similar organization.
- Proven experience managing departmental-level operations and leading organizational change for continuous improvement.
- Demonstrated experience in fire and rescue preparedness, contingency planning, and emergency response operations.
- Ability to develop, test, and manage risk and emergency plans for large-scale infrastructure or community assets.
- Strong understanding of risk assessment, horizon scanning, and business continuity principles.
- Experience leading and training multidisciplinary emergency response teams.
- Proficiency in developing and implementing operational policies and performance metrics.
- Knowledge of international best practices in fire, rescue, and emergency management systems.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to coordinate complex emergency simulation exercises and analyze post-exercise reports.
