Job description
The Product Manager β Deposits and Payments at Citi UAE will lead product implementation initiatives within Wealth Management, focusing on the growth of the Deposit Book and strategic payments initiatives. The role requires close collaboration with Front Office, Operations, Technology, Control, and Vendor teams to design, implement, and optimize deposit and payment products while ensuring regulatory compliance and operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities
- Build and maintain the product control framework, ensuring documentation and procedures are up to date.
- Lead technology build coordination with stakeholders and vendors to implement product solutions.
- Identify and implement opportunities to streamline product processes and improve operational efficiency.
- Maintain strong working relationships with frontline distribution and operations teams; act as the primary contact for operational and pricing queries.
- Support delivery of regulatory, operational, and strategic initiatives tied to product quality, controls, and technology improvements.
- Assist in process re-engineering, testing, and governance of product initiatives.
- Prepare and maintain Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) and related implementation documentation.
- Provide subject-matter expertise on deposit and payment products and related regulations.
- Present findings and updates to senior management and cross-functional teams.
Experience & skills
- Bachelorβs degree in business, finance, or related field.
- 2β5 years of relevant experience in banking product management, operations, or payments.
- Strong familiarity with deposits and payments products and regulations.
- Proficiency in Excel and data analysis for operational and reporting tasks.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and relationship management skills.
- Strong attention to detail, initiative, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work to deadlines in a dynamic environment.
- Fluency in written and spoken English; Arabic is advantageous.
