Job description
A leading financial services regulator in Dubai is building out its Enforcement function's forensic technology capability, and this Senior Manager, Digital Forensics & eDiscovery role sits at the centre of it. You will take ownership of the forensic technology and eDiscovery lifecycle, covering everything from technology selection and implementation through to data collection, processing, analysis, archiving, and ongoing optimisation. Investigations depend on evidence collected from physical and cloud-based sources, so maintaining data integrity and chain of custody runs through the entire process. Data ingestion, indexing, filtering, deduplication and analytics all fall under this remit, alongside evaluating, benchmarking and implementing new forensic and investigative technologies. Artificial Intelligence and Large Language Models are becoming part of how the organisation investigates, and you will help identify and implement new technology that improves investigative effectiveness. Experience with tools such as Nuix, Relativity, Reveal, Analyst's Notebook, Power BI, SQL, Azure and Microsoft Copilot is highly desirable, though not mandatory across every one of them. Vendor relationships need managing across technical and commercial matters, and business cases for technology improvements will need building and presenting. Close collaboration with IT, Cyber Security, Risk, Legal and Digitalisation teams is expected, alongside training Enforcement and other teams on forensic technology and best practices. Analytical reports, briefings and recommendations get produced for senior stakeholders, and technology and investigation processes must comply with relevant data protection, risk and regulatory requirements.
