Job description
A major site supervision consultancy project in Riyadh needs a Construction Manager to oversee every construction activity on site, from first delivery through handover. Working closely with the Resident Engineer, Project Director, contractors and multidisciplinary supervision teams, this role provides construction leadership and coordinates site operations across high profile building and hospitality developments. Construction works need to be executed safely, efficiently and in compliance with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, contractual requirements and project schedules. You'll lead construction supervision activities during the execution phase, monitoring daily operations and coordinating contractors, subcontractors and site supervision personnel across multiple disciplines. Methodologies, work sequences and resource deployment plans all get reviewed regularly, with contractor performance monitored and corrective actions recommended wherever productivity or quality slips. Design, engineering, planning, commercial and quality teams all coordinate through this role to keep project objectives on track, while compliance with local regulations, authority requirements and international standards stays non negotiable. Site progress gets tracked closely to catch delays, risks and construction constraints early, with coordination meetings and progress reviews keeping stakeholders aligned and RFIs resolved. Quality assurance and quality control procedures, HSE performance, method statements and temporary works proposals all fall under this role's review, alongside testing, commissioning, snagging and handover activities as the project closes out. Mentoring site engineers, inspectors and supervision staff rounds out the job, supporting high performance delivery right through to successful completion of every contractual obligation.
