Job description
The Project Interface Lead is responsible for establishing and managing all interface points across the Feasibility, Concept Optimization, FEED, and EPIC stages of the NFA Sustainability Project. This role ensures effective collaboration between internal disciplines, contractors, and stakeholders to deliver safe, high-quality, and timely project outcomes in compliance with technical specifications, budgets, and HSE standards. The incumbent drives interface and risk management systems, fostering seamless communication and integration across all project elements.

Key responsibilities
- Identify, define, and manage all project interfaces across engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning stages.
- Develop, implement, and maintain robust interface management systems, registers, and procedures aligned with company and project standards.
- Coordinate between internal teams, contractors, and external stakeholders to ensure alignment on technical scope and deliverables.
- Oversee interface-related risk identification, assessment, and mitigation to maintain project integrity and schedule adherence.
- Support the development of project execution plans, interface matrices, and communication workflows.
- Ensure all interface activities are conducted in compliance with HSE, quality, and regulatory standards.
- Lead interface coordination meetings, resolve conflicts, and drive decisions to maintain project momentum.
- Monitor progress of interface deliverables and update project leadership on key risks, dependencies, and milestones.
- Ensure lessons learned and best practices are captured and integrated into future project phases.
- Provide mentorship and technical guidance to project engineers and interface coordinators.
Experience & skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, or related discipline); higher degree is advantageous.
- Minimum 15 years of experience in engineering and project execution within the offshore Oil & Gas industry.
- At least 10 years in project management or interface leadership roles on major capital projects.
- Strong familiarity with FEED, EPIC, and concept development stages for large-scale offshore projects.
- Proven expertise in risk management, stakeholder engagement, and multi-discipline coordination.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and presentation skills with the ability to influence across organizational levels.
- Sound decision-making and problem-solving capabilities under pressure.
- Comprehensive understanding of industry best practices, interface tools, and documentation systems.
- Commitment to HSE excellence and quality assurance in project delivery.
