Job description
The Accounting Supervisor at Le Méridien City Center Doha is responsible for accurate financial record keeping, processing invoices and bills, reconciling accounts, preparing reports, and ensuring adherence to company policies. The role requires collaboration with other departments and maintaining high professional standards in the hospitality environment.

Key responsibilities
- Check figures, postings, and documents for accuracy and completeness
- Organize, secure, and maintain financial files, cash, and records according to company procedures
- Record, store, access, and analyze computerized financial information
- Classify, code, and summarize numerical and financial data for reporting
- Prepare, maintain, audit, and distribute financial, accounting, and payroll reports
- Complete period-end closing procedures and reports
- Prepare, review, reconcile, and issue bills, invoices, and account statements
- Follow up on past due accounts and vendor invoices until resolved
- Coordinate tasks and work with other departments
- Act as a departmental role model, mentor, and ensure work quality standards are met
- Report work-related accidents or injuries immediately
- Maintain professional appearance and confidentiality of proprietary information
- Move and handle light objects (≤10 pounds) as required
- Perform other reasonable job duties as assigned
Experience & skills
- High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
- At least 1 year of relevant accounting or finance work experience
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Basic knowledge of accounting practices and software
- Professional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and protect company assets
- Team-oriented and able to collaborate with multiple departments
- Commitment to hospitality service standards and guest experience
