Job description
The Field Service Technician at TechnipFMC in Abu Dhabi supports the offshore installation, testing, and repair of new and reworked products, including various equipment and tools. The role ensures readiness of equipment and service tooling through inventories and fit checks, and records critical operational data such as dimensions, pressures, and flow rates. Responsibilities also include assisting with project support tasks such as Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Systems Integration Testing (SIT). The technician prepares safety-related documentation and promotes adherence to safe work practices. Candidates should have a high school or equivalent technical diploma, with at least 6 months of hands-on experience in electrical, subsea, hydraulic, mechanical, or structural steel equipment. Familiarity with reading technical drawings and using specialized instruments is essential. The position offers a hybrid working arrangement with offshore responsibilities, and contributes to a diverse, inclusive, and globally collaborative team.

- Install, test, and repair new and reworked TechnipFMC equipment and tools
- Ensure all service tooling, spare parts, and equipment are on site and ready through inventories and function-fit checks
- Record critical data such as weights, dimensions, pressures, and flow rates
- Assist in the review and execution of testing, running, and assembly procedures
- Support new projects including Factory Acceptance Tests and Systems Integration Testing
- Prepare and complete all safety-related documentation

Experience & skills
- High school diploma or equivalent technical diploma
- Minimum of 6 months of relevant experience
- Basic knowledge in at least one of the following: electrical systems, subsea equipment, hydraulics, mechanical tools, or structural steel
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings
- Proficiency with technical tools and instruments required for the role
