Job description
Uber is seeking a Manager for Middle East AV Operations to join its Autonomous Mobility & Delivery (AM&D) team. This role involves launching and scaling autonomous vehicle deployments across the Middle East. The position will focus on supporting AV partners in new city launches, monitoring ongoing deployments, and driving growth in the region. The Manager will work cross-functionally with Uberās internal teams and external stakeholders to develop scalable playbooks, manage program risks, and ensure the success of autonomous mobility operations.

Key responsibilities
- Own end-to-end workstreams related to AV launch, deployment, and ongoing operations in the Middle East
- Collaborate with fleet operations, engineering, product management, legal, policy, safety, marketing, and regional operations teams
- Use data to surface insights, develop and track metrics
- Anticipate problems and craft efficient solutions to operational challenges
- Pressure test assumptions and accurately assess program risks
- Work with internal teams and external partners to experiment and align on operational goals
- Contribute to evolving strategy by identifying areas to improve customer experience and internal operations
- Make informed decisions in ambiguous environments and defend them to leadership
Experience & skills
- Bachelorās degree or equivalent
- Minimum 6 years of experience in data analytics and operations management
- Proficiency in SQL, with ability to build queries and generate insights
- Experience in stakeholder management and working with cross-functional teams
- Preferred experience with Uber marketplace and operations
- Ability to plan, set metrics, develop roadmaps, and design scalable processes
- Continuous improvement mindset with ability to quickly adapt and learn
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to thrive in dynamic, fast-paced environments
