Job description
The Procurement Executive at Legend Holding Group is responsible for sourcing, purchasing, and managing materials, goods, and services required across multiple business units including automotive, energy, and logistics. The role includes vendor management, cost optimization, contract administration, procurement transaction tracking, and maintaining vendor databases. The executive will collaborate with internal stakeholders across operations, logistics, warehouse, and finance to ensure timely delivery, adherence to procurement policies, regulatory compliance, and budget limits. The position also contributes to process improvements, supply chain efficiency, and sustainable procurement practices while preparing reports, expenditure analyses, and periodic reviews.
Required skills
Key responsibilities
- Source and evaluate suppliers/vendors for goods and services across automotive, energy, and logistics operations.
- Issue and manage RFQs, compare quotes, and negotiate terms, pricing, and delivery schedules to ensure best value.
- Raise purchase orders (POs), process supplier contracts, and maintain accurate records of procurement transactions including orders, deliveries, and invoices.
- Monitor and track orders until delivery/completion, coordinating with internal departments to ensure timely receipt and handover.
- Maintain and update vendor database and approved supplier list, evaluating vendor performance and maintaining vendor relations.
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies, budget limits, and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand demand and forecast procurement needs.
- Contribute to cost optimization, supply chain efficiency, and process improvements supporting business growth and sustainability goals.
- Assist in preparing procurement reports, expenditure analyses, and periodic reviews.
Experience & skills
- Experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management.
- Knowledge of vendor management and supplier evaluation processes.
- Familiarity with RFQ and purchase order processes.
- Ability to maintain accurate procurement records and contracts.
- Strong negotiation skills for pricing, terms, and delivery schedules.
- Understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements in procurement.
- Capability to coordinate across multiple departments for timely delivery and process efficiency.
- Analytical skills for cost optimization and expenditure analysis.
