Job description
The Senior Manager ā Facilities Management at DP World is responsible for the strategic and operational leadership of facilities across the organization. This includes developing long-term plans, managing budgets, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. The role demands a focus on space optimization, asset management, contract negotiation, emergency preparedness, and sustainability initiatives. The incumbent leads a team of professionals, ensures cross-departmental collaboration, and upholds high standards in safety and regulatory compliance. Emphasis is placed on delivering efficient facility operations, supporting organizational growth, and maintaining strong stakeholder engagement and communication.
Required skills
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute long-term plans for facilities management department, ensuring alignment with organizational goals
- Manage and optimize the facilities budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness, resource allocation, and financial stewardship
- Oversee day-to-day facility operations, ensuring efficiency, compliance with standards, and seamless occupant experience
- Manage and lead the facilities management team, fostering a positive culture and encouraging professional development
- Oversee the space utilization strategy and introduce optimization through implementation of standards
- Manage the inventory of assets, equipment, and materials owned by DP World
- Create and promote integrated management processes and procedures to support business growth
- Negotiate and manage contracts with service providers, vendors, and suppliers
- Work with procurement to source best value and implement cost savings
- Develop and oversee emergency response plans and coordinate with authorities
- Provide regular reports and maintain communication with stakeholders
- Collaborate with end users and other stakeholders to align facilities management with organizational goals
- Oversee FM project execution considering technical and commercial aspects
- Implement environmentally friendly practices and sustainability initiatives
- Stay informed on regulations, codes, and ensure legal compliance
- Ensure safety compliance and conduct inspections to address hazards

- Proven experience in strategic facilities management
- Ability to manage and optimize large-scale budgets
