Job description
The Cyber Security IT Assurance Senior Analyst at ENOC is responsible for performing comprehensive IT assurance activities aimed at protecting the organization's information assets and critical infrastructure. The role focuses on conducting in-depth technical cyber security assessments, validating the effectiveness of existing security controls, and providing assurance for ongoing IT security initiatives. The analyst is tasked with analyzing the technology environment to identify vulnerabilities, performing IT architecture assessments from a security standpoint, and evaluating available tools and countermeasures to strengthen defenses. Responsibilities include reviewing IT infrastructures for adherence to security best practices, performing security validations of systems and applications, and participating in project reviews to ensure that new systems comply with security requirements. The position involves executing vulnerability scanning, penetration testing, and red teaming exercises, as well as reviewing configurations of cyber security equipment like firewalls, IPS, and endpoint protection systems. The analyst will also conduct secure code reviews, dynamic testing of applications, and cyber threat modeling aligned with data classification standards. This position requires building strong collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective implementation of security strategies and recommendations. The role reports to ENOCās cyber security division within its technology operations function and supports enterprise-wide initiatives to strengthen IT security resilience.

Key responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive IT cyber security analysis of the technology environment to identify gaps and propose improvement solutions
- Perform IT architecture assessments from a technical security perspective and recommend design enhancements
- Evaluate and assess IT tools and countermeasures to address detected vulnerabilities and recommend best practices
- Review and validate IT infrastructure and reference architectures for compliance with security best practices
- Perform cyber security reviews for system development or acquisition projects related to IT environments
- Validate and verify system security requirements definitions and analyze established system security designs
- Conduct periodic cyber security assessments including vulnerability scanning, penetration testing, and red teaming exercises
- Perform configuration reviews of IT cyber security equipment and validate security configurations across security infrastructure tools
- Conduct secure code reviews and dynamic security testing for IT-related applications
- Perform IT cyber threat modeling of services and applications based on risk and data classification
- Build and maintain collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support security assurance initiatives
Experience & skills
- Bachelorās degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business; Masterās or MBA in Information Security, Computer Science, or Engineering preferred
- Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, OSCP, CEH, CISA, or GSEC required
- Minimum of 6 years of Information Technology experience, including at least 3 years of relevant cyber security assurance work
- Experience in cyber security assessments, architecture reviews, and assurance activities
- Preferred background across multiple industries such as Oil & Gas, Energy, Utilities, Retail, or Government
- Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, security configurations, and system hardening practices
- Proficiency in performing vulnerability scanning, penetration testing, red teaming, and code review exercises
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively across teams
