Al-Futtaim Automotive is hiring a Sales Manager for BYD in Saudi Arabia responsible for achieving and managing sales targets for new and used vehicle units while maximizing uptake of Finance and Insurance (F&I) products, trade-ins, and accessory sales. The role supports BYDâs mission of technological innovation in electric mobility, battery innovation, and sustainable transport solutions, contributing to a zero-emission future. The Sales Manager will manage the customer journey using a structured 'one offer' sales process, maintain expected standards on Net Promoter Score (NPS), and ensure effective lead management across telephone, web, and walk-in enquiries. The position involves capturing customer data in Dealer Management System (DMS), coordinating test drives, maintaining ID and email records, and achieving mandatory training requirements aligned with Al-Futtaim and OEM standards. The role also requires maintaining awareness of competitor activities, supporting showroom referrals, enhancing second-facing opportunities, and driving customer conversion. The Sales Manager will leverage digital sales platforms and sales systems to manage pipeline and customer follow-up, ensuring performance-driven sales delivery across electric vehicle offerings. The position requires proven sales experience within Saudi Arabia, preferably within automotive, EV, or luxury brands, along with a track record in lead conversion and pipeline management. The candidate must be tech-savvy, capable of using digital sales platforms and customer management tools, and hold a valid Saudi Arabia driver's license. Key responsibilities
- Achieve monthly unit sales targets for new and used vehicles by guiding customers through a structured 'one offer' journey while maximizing customer conversion and maintaining expected Net Promoter Score (NPS) standards throughout the customer lifecycle.
- Drive trade-in performance by evaluating trade-in opportunities, coordinating customer trade-in processes, and ensuring achievement of monthly trade-in targets aligned with dealership sales objectives.
- Achieve Finance and Insurance (F&I) product sales targets by promoting financing, insurance, and value-added services to customers while maximizing revenue opportunities and enhancing customer ownership experience.
- Manage leads from telephone, web, and walk-in enquiries by qualifying prospects, maintaining lead pipelines, and ensuring timely follow-up to improve lead conversion and customer engagement.
- Capture customer data in Dealer Management System (DMS) including test drive details, identification records, email addresses, and customer preferences while ensuring data accuracy and sales tracking.
- Promote referrals to Showroom Managers to ensure 100% second-facing opportunities, enhance customer experience, and improve sales conversion through collaborative showroom engagement.
- Maintain knowledge of competitor activities, product offerings, and market trends in electric vehicles and automotive industry to effectively counter customer objections and position BYD offerings.
- Complete mandatory training requirements from Al-Futtaim and OEM including product knowledge, sales techniques, digital sales platforms, and electric vehicle technologies while maintaining compliance with company standards.
Experience & skills
- Demonstrate minimum 10 years of proven sales experience in Saudi Arabia preferably within automotive industry including exposure to electric vehicles or luxury brands.
- Show track record in lead conversion, pipeline management, customer follow-up, and achieving sales targets for new and used vehicles.
- Possess experience in Finance and Insurance (F&I) product sales, trade-ins, and accessory sales within automotive dealership environments.
- Demonstrate proficiency using Dealer Management System (DMS), digital sales platforms, and sales systems to manage customer data, leads, and sales pipelines.
- Hold valid Saudi Arabia driver's license with capability to conduct test drives and customer demonstrations.
- Demonstrate knowledge of competitor analysis, customer journey management, and showroom sales processes within automotive sector.
- Exhibit fluency in English with additional languages considered advantageous for customer engagement and sales support.
- Show ability to work within performance-driven sales teams while achieving mandatory training requirements aligned with Al-Futtaim and OEM standards.
