Job description
The Relationship Specialist role within the Corporate & Investment Banking Group (CIBG) at Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank supports the Transaction Banking Sales team in Dubai and Northern Emirates. The position focuses on executing customer sales and service activities to build sustainable client relationships while supporting Relationship Managers and Senior Relationship Managers in revenue generation. Responsibilities include actioning customer requests, responding to client needs, completing sales and service activities, and resolving complaints on time to ensure customer satisfaction. The role supports the collection of client information and documentation required for financial health assessments and industry analysis, enabling the identification of lending opportunities, selling, and cross-selling opportunities that improve ADCB profitability. The role operates within the Corporate & Investment Banking Group, which provides corporate banking services including investment banking, transaction banking, and financial market solutions through digital platforms and distribution channels to clients such as government entities, financial institutions, and large corporates across the UAE and MENA region. The position also requires adherence to organizational policies, departmental processes, and standard operating procedures to maintain service quality and regulatory compliance while supporting client relationship management and transaction banking sales activities.

- Action customer requests and complete sales and service activities to build sustainable customer relationships and support revenue generation
- Respond to customer needs and resolve complaints in a timely manner to maintain high levels of client satisfaction
- Support Relationship Managers and Senior Relationship Managers in increasing revenue through sales support and client engagement
- Gather required client information and documentation to support analysis of financial health, industry dynamics, and client needs
- Assist in identifying lending opportunities, selling opportunities, and cross-selling opportunities for corporate banking products
- Process corporate account opening activities and corporate service requests
- Adhere to organizational policies, departmental procedures, and standard operating procedures to ensure compliance and consistent service delivery
- Maintain customer engagement and support relationship management activities within the Transaction Banking Sales team
Experience & skills
- At least 4 years of experience in a sales and service environment within a financial institution
- Experience in corporate account opening
- Experience processing corporate service requests
- Ability to support customer relationship management and sales activities in corporate banking
- Experience gathering client documentation for financial and industry analysis
- Knowledge of corporate banking services, transaction banking, and financial market solutions
- Strong communication skills
