Job description
The Key Account Specialist in Tamara's Builders Program will manage relationships with key strategic partners, focusing on the success, satisfaction, and growth of merchant partners. The role involves guiding and assisting merchants through onboarding, teaching products and features, creating growth plans, and maintaining strong ongoing communication. Responsibilities include analyzing merchant performance using data, developing success stories, collecting feedback, and collaborating with analytics and internal teams to ensure partner success. The position is designed for early-career talent or recent graduates with 0–2 years of experience, providing direct ownership, exposure to cross-functional teams, and opportunities to contribute to Tamara’s mission to become the region’s favorite financial super app.
Required skills
Key responsibilities
- Guide and assist merchants through the onboarding process, collaborating with partner teams and internal teams
- Teach and onboard new merchants on Tamara’s products and features
- Create plans to help merchants grow their businesses, boost satisfaction, and expand partnerships
- Build and maintain strong relationships with partners through meetings and ongoing communication
- Manage day-to-day interactions with merchants and hold regular business review meetings
- Monitor merchant satisfaction and implement measures to retain them
- Use data to analyze merchant performance, address questions or concerns, and share results with partners
- Develop success stories and share valuable insights with relevant teams
- Collect merchant feedback and pass it on to internal teams
- Collaborate with the analytics team to provide insights that benefit partners
- Create and implement plans to develop merchant accounts
- Master Tamara’s products, services, and partner networks to meet merchant needs effectively
- Coordinate with various teams across Tamara to ensure smooth merchant experience
- Enhance processes to improve partner success
- Contribute significantly to Tamara’s growth and expansion of core business and product offerings
Experience & skills
- 0-2 years of experience, including internships at start-ups or previous experience in sales, account management, or customer-facing roles
- Customer-oriented with ability to establish strong relationships with assigned merchants
- Strategic thinker with excellent project management skills
- Excellent analytics skills
- Exceptional communication skills
- Adaptable to changing requirements and able to manage multiple activities in parallel
- Self-motivated, driven, and willing to work hard to achieve ambitious goals
